Clear or tinted glass that is the question!

When it comes to replacing windows in a home people often find themselves in a debate on whether to get clear or tinted glass. While many home owners choose a standard clear glass they fail to realize the benefits of upgrading to tinted,  reflective, or Low-E coated glass. Clear glass allows for a greater exchange of ultra violet rays into your home making your power bill increase and causing your fabrics, carpets, and pictures to fade. Using a tinted or coated product could save you hundreds of dollars on your energy bill and replacement costs for items in your home damaged by the sun. While the debate over having clear or tinted glass will always be around it becomes a much easier decision when you think of how much money you could be saving!
